Galleri Rostrum is an artist-run gallery that started in 1985. The gallery is run on a non-profit basis with the support of the Culture Council, Malmö City and Region Skåne. The objective of Galleri Rostrum is to form a rich and varied exhibition program, which is no stranger to any form of artistic expression. Rostrum wants to be a room for the curious and searching, for art that is in close dialogue with the viewer. Galleri Rostrums is run by the Rostrum Artists' Group. The gallery shows about 10 exhibitions a year and runs Art After Work (AAW), Projekt Rostrum and does exchanges with other self-organized platforms nationally and internationally.
