Apoteka – Space for Contemporary Art is a leading institution for contemporary art in the Region of Istria, Croatia. It is a flexible concept that works in the space of “in between” – different positions and ideas: as a project space, a gallery, an office, an active agent, focusing on presentation, exhibiting, research, development, understanding, promotion, communication, networking in the field of contemporary artistic practices, emerging artists, curating, research, innovative and creative culture. Apoteka is a project space, where different exhibition formats and a variety of artistic positions, practices and media are explored and made visible.
