About this artwork

Mixed media on shaped wooden panel - 170 x 100 cm (max) - 2025. This work of mine with an informal abstract matrix wants to evoke a deep connection between both interior and cosmic energy as well. The organic shape of the wooden board breaks the traditional structure of the canvas, suggesting a fluid interaction between the microcosm of the human being and the macrocosm of the universe. The dominant colors, with tones of blue, black and hints of green and white, create a spatial, almost sidereal atmosphere, in which the dynamism of the white and golden lines gives movement and a sense of interconnection between the different forces. The contrast between the bright and darker areas accentuates the duality between the interior and the immensity of the universe. The use of the free pictorial gesture, with splashes and drips, recalls the spontaneous energy of informal painting, while the curved and harmonious lines seem to outline flows of energy, evoking the path of the soul or of the vital forces. Overall, the work conveys a strong sense of harmony and connection between the human being and the cosmos, inviting the observer to reflect on his or her own inner energies connected with all of humanity and cosmic forces.
