The largest waterfall in Europe in terms of water flow. It is 44m high and 100m wide. It has a brute force and is extremely noisy. It can be reached from two sides, this (eastern) side is better for photography, because in the vast majority of the days the wind blows the sprayed water towards the other side. There, a person without a quality raincoat has no chance. But, if you turn from the "main" road to the wrong turn and come to the unwanted side, it's pretty bad luck, because getting to the opposite side is min. 1.5 hours of ride on a typical Icelandic gravel side road.
