Pechane

Pechane is a passionate Sumi-e painter and admirer of Japanese culture. With a graphic designer and videographer background, he discovered the art of Sumi-e in 2002, igniting a lifelong fascination that continues to inspire his work.

For a decade, Pechane devoted himself to mastering Sumi-e, embracing its techniques and philosophical underpinnings before publicly exhibiting his art. He westernized this conventional art form by incorporating portraits, nudes, and abstract elements rarely seen in traditional Sumi-e. His approach reflects a blend of tradition and contemporary vision, inviting viewers to connect with the art on multiple levels.

Pechane's art invites viewers to immerse themselves in the Zen culture, where losing oneself in a Sumi-e painting becomes a meditative experience.
