BIOGRAPHY             

My name is Anna Vassiliou and I’m the owner of Atelier Venezia – Fine Arts Studio, in Larnaca, Cyprus.

I was born and grew up in Athens. After my studies, I moved to Cyprus where I live today. 

As a child, I always had a deep interest in art. I became an artist by admiring the work of the impressionism masters such as Monet, Renoir and Manet and by practicing on their masterpieces. 

Since then I have improved my techniques by studying painting next to great masters of my country. I work oil on canvas and my artworks express my romanticism and sensitivity. Many of my subjects are inspired by my trips to Europe and especially Italy where Venice became my passion.

I’m a member of the Italian Associations in Melfi, "Pittori e Artisti" and "Associazione Ps2mania Artists Division", Pitturiamo and IoArte.

My paintings have been featured in several exhibitions, galleries, and permanently exposed in the Culture Museum "Kaimaklioti", Tonia's Gallery, Famagusta Gallery, Faros Art Café, Adonis Hall of Aldiana Hotel and as well as in private collections.

I also won the 4th place in the competition "Dipingi Melfi" in Melfi, Italy on 15 December 2013.

My artwork is always renewed, thus achieving the best impressions and rewards from the public.
