Ana Guberina, Master of Fine Arts (MFA), lives and works in Zagreb. She received a master's degree from the Arthouse College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana. She has made several study visits to Hamburg; Los Angeles (UCLA) and Paris (La Cité internationale des arts). Her works were exhibited from 1996. until today in several major cycles: 'Summmer on the Island', 'Motions and Structures', 'Adam and Eve', 'Coherence',Metamorphosis, as well as the cycle of religious paintings 'Your Face O Lord, I seek'.
Ana Guberina exhibited her works on forty solo exhibitions and over hundred group exhibitions. She took a part in numerous arts projects in Croatia and abroad. For her artwork she received many acknowledgements and Awards: Zagreb full Color 19 ,and Pasionska baština Award 2002. Her works can be found in contemporary arts galleries and private collections. She is member of HDLU /Croatian Association of The Visual Artist/ and CIVA /Christians in the Visual Arts/ and HULULK /Croatian Association of Visual Artist and Arts Critics.
- Introduce yourself in a few lines
I am a Croatian painter, with the Master’s Degree from Arthouse, College for Visual Arts in Ljubljana. I live and work in Zagreb and on the Island of Prvić in Dalmatia. My works were exhibited at more than 40 solo exhibitions through several mayor cycles: Summer on the Island, Motions and structures, Adam and Eve, Coherence, Metamorphosis, as well as the cycle of religious paintings ‘Your Face, O Lord, I seek’.
In 2002 I have received Pasionska baština Award from Museum Mimara, Zagreb and Full Colour 19, Award from the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla, Zagreb. Among many study visits I would highlight study visit to the Cité internationale des arts, Paris and University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA. I am a member of Croatian Association of Visual Arts (HDLU), INFRA and CIVA.
